Suzuki confirmed for Corsica
Posted on 2007-09-20 by press release Pictures Copyright to Original Owner Category: rally ![]() Eighty-two crews are named on the entry list for next month's Rallye de France-Tour de Corse, the 13th round of the FIA World Rally Championship and the final round of the FIA Junior Championship. The list includes Frenchman Nicolas Bernardi who will debut Suzuki's SX4 World Rally Car. The entry is seven more than the number of starters in 2006 and includes four Super 2000 cars - twice as many as have appeared on a WRC event previously. There are 24 World Rally Cars on the list, despite this being an event that the Argentine Munchi's Ford World Rally Team has elected to miss. One of those will be a Ford Focus RS World Rally Car driven by Italy's Alessandro Bettega, one of four entries from the Stobart VK M-Sport Ford team, albeit as a non-registered driver.
The French federation, which supported Yoann Bonato in Finland and Germany, has now entered two 'guest' drivers in the Junior category. Arnaud Augoyard and Thomas Barral will both drive Group R3 Renault Clios.
